Shamanic Journey Retreat In Sedona:  Customized Specifically For You!

Now is the time to reclaim your personal power and prepare for the Earth changes that are coming.  Open your heart to the beautiful web of life!  You are a child of the stars, infused with the sacred energy of the Creator... and you have the right to be here.  Based on ancient wisdom thousands of years old, our Shamanic journey retreat will set you free to experience the true joy that is your natural birthright. Come to Sedona and tap into the intuitive wisdom that we all possess. This quest is about taking a journey to the place our ancestors have been.

Shamanism is about re-connecting with the land and with Spirit. Shamanic practitioners worldwide have always known that reality consists of vibration, and that physical reality can be altered through our intention.  Dismissed during the so called "Age of Reason," these ideas are now recognized as being completely in tune with the principles of modern science and quantum physics.  Traveling to sacred sites where power is amplified is also an important part of the Shamanic tradition.  Today visitors from all over the world come here for spiritual transformation and awakening.

Sample Itinerary:  5-7 Day Shamanic
Journey In Sedona With 3-5 Full Days Of Private Sessions!

As you read the sample itinerary below please keep in mind that we can customize a Shamanic journey lasting anywhere from 5 to 9 days depending on your specific goals.

Our intent is to construct a synergistic itinerary so that each session builds upon those that came before.  Your Shamanic Journey in Sedona will consist of approximately 3-6 hours per day of private sessions designed exclusively for you.

Day 1:

Arrive in Sedona - Check into your accommodations and enjoy some free time for hiking, shopping, or just soaking in the hot tub.

Day 2:

You will be met by your personal retreat guide in the morning to receive your welcome packet and finalized retreat itinerary.

Releasing Ceremony - Your SpiritQuest guide will take you outside for a private welcoming ceremony.  During this special ceremony you will connect with the land, set your intention for the retreat, and identify blockages that need to be released.

Way Of The Peaceful Warrior - Awaken your ancestral memories and celebrate your connection to the Earth.  This session takes place on the land, where you will explore the laws of relationship.  These laws apply to everyone, whether you are conscious of them or not.  Learn how the Hopi ("People of Peace" in their language) create harmony and balance in their lives by cultivating gentleness and gratitude.

Day 3:

Shamanic Journey - You are ready to begin the process of evolving to a higher state of consciousness.  Shamanism is about being connected with nature, understanding that we are earth-based, the real and living knowledge of which is then used for balance, health, relationships, and success in all that we do. Shamanism is the oldest way in which human race has sought connection with Creation.  This very special session involves being reconnecting with the sacred spirit of Mother Earth.

Medicine Wheel Ceremony - Medicine Wheels have been a part of many ancient cultures dating back thousands of years. They are built in sacred locations that contain the collective energy investment of the peoples who have used them in ceremony.  This Native American ceremony guides us to explore the meaning of relationship - not only to each other, but to all living things and to the Divine.  The Wheel symbolizes the "Sacred Circle of Life" and reminds us that everything is interconnected.  This session is with a Native American practitioner.

Day 4:

Soul Retrieval - Now that you are relaxed and open, it's time to re-integrate that part of you that you lost a long time ago.  "Soul Pieces" are aspects of yourself that were once whole but became fragmented due to trauma or emotional upheaval.  The fragmented part holds the memory of the event and the full emotional impact so that your psyche can continue to function intact. The price for this protection however is often the loss of spirit.  This manifests as being ‘shut down’ or ‘numb’ in some area of your life. In a Soul Recovery session the lost part is retrieved and returned to you so that you can become whole again. This session is with a Native American practitioner.

Mind, Body & Spirit Integration - During this session you will review and reflect on your retreat experience with your SpiritQuest guide, then discover how to use your own inner power to create a more joyous, abundant and healthy life...  the life YOU truly desire.

Sweat Lodge**

Click here for our official statement regarding the recent sweat lodge tragedy in Sedona

Ritual saunas have been used for physical purification and renewal by people worldwide since very ancient times.  The Native American sweat lodge ceremony includes prayers, drumming, chanting, and offerings to the spirit world.  While there are many different types of Sweat lodge structures and many variations of the ritual, the meaning and effect on participants is the same -- physical and emotional healing, as well as a holy place for the offering of prayers to the Creator.  The sweat lodge is especially important to the Lakota people of the northern plains, being one of seven sacred rites within their spiritual tradition.

**There are several traditional sweat lodges in the area surrounding Sedona.  These are spiritual ceremonies and NOT for tourists or curiosity seekers.  Attendance is by invitation only.  If a traditional sweat lodge is happening during your stay, at our discretion we may decide it is appropriate to ask the lodge keeper for an invitation on your behalf.  Out of respect for Native American traditions SpiritQuest does not any charge money for this-- and therefore we assume no responsibility for what you experience.  While no SpiritQuest client has ever suffered any negative effects, those with heart conditions, high blood pressure, diabetes or weakened immune systems should consult their physician before entering a sweat lodge.  Should you decide to attend, it is traditional to bring food for the meal that takes place after the ceremony, as well as a donation for the time and energy put in by the native people who conduct these healing lodges.
