society. We design your spiritual retreat to meet your personal
needs. The decision to develop a separate page offering "gay
friendly" retreats came after many gay clients expressed how powerful
their retreat had been for them. They also explained how those
suffering in the LGBT community are those of you who have experienced
intense persecution, and been forced to hide your true selves from
friends, family and people in the work place. It was easy to see
that we needed to create a special page especially for this community, so
that you feel safe coming to Sedona for a SpiritQuest, but also because
the LGBT community has special needs when it comes to healing and
spirituality!

want to make it clear that if you're searching for a "gay
retreat" in the hope you will start a new romance, then you should
look elsewhere. However, if you're looking for a gay or lesbian
retreat because you want to go inward and heal old wounds, so you can
truly make peace with the beautiful person you're sure to find there, and

Sedona. This session focuses on the connection of your “Shadow Self”

guilt and oppression. Your sexual identity is just one aspect of your
being. Exploring all aspects of your being, and the connections between
them, is the key setting your TRUE self free!
Energy Vampirism
Do you look for completion outside of yourself? The truth is that you

meet all your inner parts and befriend and honor them. Thus honoring

choices. Align and integrate this new wisdom to establish
clarity, insight and ideally wholeness, thus empowering you and your life!
Ancient Ruins Hike
Awaken your ancestral memories by visiting various archaeological
sites near Sedona. Feel the ancient wisdom and energies as you
explore these powerful ruins. This hike helps to center you and connect to
the present by gaining knowledge of the past. Many visitors have
told us that a visit to these hidden ruins was one of their most profound
experiences in Sedona.
Chakra Balancing
Revitalize and restore your energy flow with this healing
session. Chakras are the seven main energy centers of our body.
First mentioned in the ancient Vedas, the Hindu books of knowledge, these
swirling vortexes regulate our energy flow. Every sense, feeling and
experience is connected to a specific Chakra. When you are stressed about
something, the Chakra itself can become unbalanced and this manifests
itself as illness in your physical body. To become healthy again these
Chakras need to be balanced from time to time.
Sound and Healing with
Vibration
You'll experience truly amazing sensations as the practitioner gently
invites stuck energy to move or vibrate again... or over-stimulated energy
to explore stillness. The different parts of our physical,
emotional, mental and spiritual being resonate to different frequencies of

Are the
Practioners gay?
Yes, some of them are and all of our Practitioners have been trained to
work with all gay issues. We welcome you to Sedona with open hearts
and minds to facilitate your personal healing retreat without judgment.
Are the
Practioners aware of gay issues?
Absolutely. All of our Practitioners have had sensitivity training
and some have worked in gay clinics before joining SpiritQuest.
Will I meet
other gays during the retreat?
Almost certainly, but that should not be your goal.
Will I be in a
group setting?
No, unless you come with a group. We encourage you make this a solo
experience focusing all on your own spiritual journey.
Can I come
with a friend?
Of course. However, we encourage you to "retreat" from
your any source of irritation or conflict in your everyday life as much as
possible, and to limit your contact with outside during your stay so you
can focus on yourself.
Where do I
stay?
We have a special cottage (subject to availability) for our clients, or if
you prefer there are many fine hotels, B&B's and motels available in
Sedona.
Will I have
time for hiking and outdoor activities?
Yes, of course. In fact we strongly encourage it. We will
customize your retreat to accomplish whatever you desire, and Sedona has
some of the most beautiful hiking and biking trails in the world.
How far in
advance do I need to schedule my gay personalized retreat?
We've had clients come within the week, but the more time we have,
the better we can serve your personal needs and choose the best
Practitioners for you.
Can you
actually heal physical illnesses? No, we are not doctors and
do not diagnose or prescribe. Therefore we do not guarantee any
physical healing. However, the spiritual work we do together will
better equip you emotionally and mentally to deal with physical issues in
a more holistic way.
